If undefined is set, it will be treated as 'auto' conversion of area unit according the following rules.
For metric:
Values >= 1,000,000 m² are converted to km²
Values >= 10,000 m² are converted to hectares
Values >= 100 m² are converted to ares
Values < 100 m² are kept as m²
For imperial:
Values >= 2,589,988.11 m² are converted to mi²
Values >= 4,046.856 m² are converted to acres
Values >= 0.83612736 m² are converted to yd²
Values < 0.83612736 m² are converted to ft²
If a specific unit is set, the value is converted to that unit.
